As you play through Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you’ll be able to assign various classes to your characters. To unlock classes, you’ll need to reach at least Level 5, acquire a Beginner Seal, then take the Certification Exam on a Sunday. Note that you can acquire Beginner Seals from enemy units and purchase them from the Marketplace, while Certification Exams are only held on Sundays.

Upon passing your Certification Exam, you’ll unlock that particular class. Keep in mind that even if you unlock a class, classes have stat requirements you’ll have to meet in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Wondering what classes are available? After selecting unlocking a class and selecting them, you have the option to reclass any time you feel the need. To reclass your characters you’ll need to open your in-game menu using X, then select Inventory. From the Inventory menu, select the Reclass option, then choose the class you wish to reclass. It’s as simple as that.

There’s no penalty to reclassing your characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, though it’s recommended that you unlock a solid variety of class options before reclassing your characters. Again, you can unlock new classes by acquiring a Beginner Seal, taking the Certification Exam on a Sunday, passing the Certification Exam, and then having the stat requirements needed to adopt that class in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
