The news that Nintendo is increasing the upload limit from 32 to 64 is exciting as it means players will be able to share even more custom stages with players in Super Mario Maker 2. It’s also nice to hear this isn’t the only instance where Nintendo will increase the limit, as plans are already underway to bump up the limit again in the near future.

“The maximum number of courses that you can upload in Super Mario Maker 2 has been increased from 32 to 64 courses,” Nintendo explained. “We plan to raise this limit again in the future, so stay tuned. The development team has also created a special course, featuring Super Ball Mario!”

To complement the upload limit increase, Nintendo also shared a special course of their own that, as the tweet describes, features Super Ball Mario. To access the course, you’ll need to input the code 24Y-BMK-5JG. We tried this level out ourselves and found it to be a fun little throwback to previous Super Mario titles, and a great way to celebrate the upload limit increase.

After learning about the upload limit increase and special course from Nintendo, what are your thoughts? Have you created over 32 courses in Super Mario Maker 2 and are happy for the extra wiggle room to create and upload 32 more? Have you tried the special course from Nintendo? Let us know down in the comments below, and share your custom course codes with us, we’d love to check them out!
