In Dragon Quest Builders 2, there are a variety of room recipes on offer that you can call upon to build interesting new constructions. After you reach a certain point in the game, you’ll need to build a Steamy Spa. Of course, many have found the full ingredient list for the Steamy Spa a bit confusing. It can also be difficult to collect some of these ingredients like the Pink Floating Petals. To help you out, we’ve put together a quick guide on how to build a Steamy Spa in Dragon Quest Builders 2.
How to build a Steamy Spa in Dragon Quest Builders 2

To build a Steamy Spa in Dragon Quest Builders 2, you’ll need to collect a few different ingredients. Below, we’ve listed all of the ingredients needed to build a Steamy Spa.
- 10 - Hot Water
- 3 - Bath Stools
- 3 - Washtubs
- 1 - Pink Floating Petals
- 1 - Spa Spout
While some of these ingredients like the Bath Stools and Washtubs are straightforward (especially if you’ve built a spa in the past), others can be harder to collect. Notably, the Pink Floating Petals. For many Dragon Quest Builders 2 players, Pink Petals can be found in and around the mountains of Moonbrooke.
To collect and preserve these Pink Floating Petals, you’ll need to use your hammer to dislodge them while still keeping them intact for transport. Using your sword will destroy the Pink Floating Petals, making them unusable in your Steamy Spa build. Note that you can also find Hot Water squares and the Spa Spout in and around Moonbrooke.
Once you’ve collected all of the ingredients needed to build your Steamy Spa, you can get to work on the construction. It seems like the build itself also needs to be done in a certain way. For example, don’t use too many of the ingredients listed above, and don’t place your Washtubs and Bath Stools in the hot water itself. Other things that seem to help include properly directing your Spa Spout into the Hot Water.
