In Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, one of the biggest complaints players have is with the default camera angles. For those not used to the ones used in the game, it can be a pain navigating through the campaign with the camera angle options provided. Fortunately, there’s an option to adjust your camera in the settings menu. Confused? Here’s what you need to do to swap camera angle settings in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3!

There are two camera angle settings in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order which include Classic and Heroic. By default, the Classic camera angles settings are the ones that are enabled. If you dislike the Classic camera angle setting, we recommend trying out Heroic. To do this, press + on your Nintendo Switch controller, scroll through the game’s main menu, then choose “System” followed by “Options” to view your adjustable settings.
Here, you’ll find a “Camera” tab which offers the two options listed above, Classic and Heroic. From Classic, swap the camera angle settings over to Heroic then save your changes. After that, simply jump back into the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 campaign and check out your newly swapped camera angle settings in action.
If, for whatever reason, you find the Heroic camera angle settings to be worse than the Classic option, you can switch them back using the same steps listed above. In the future, Team Ninja may release patches to further improve the camera angles in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, as they’re a point of contention among critics of the game. Some love them, others find them a bit clunky.
