There are a few ways to go about saving your progress in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. First, it’s worth noting that like other modern video games on the market, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 will automatically save your progress. The game auto-saves pretty regularly, meaning if the game accidentally cuts out due to a power outage for example, you won’t lose too much progress.
If you’re someone who likes to auto-save before closing out the game, you can do things like completing an Infinity Trial. Alternatively, you can keep an eye out for Checkpoints in the campaign marked in yellow at the bottom area of your screen. Every time you pass a Checkpoint, you’ll know the game has saved your progress. To “manually save” the game you’ll need to seek out a SHIELD symbol on the map.
Interact with the SHIELD and navigate to “System” and then select “Save” to manually save your progress at that SHIELD location. Overall, we recommend waiting to turn off the game until the game auto-saves, or you’re able to manually save at a SHIELD. What’s nice is that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 auto-saves on a regular basis, though we certainly won’t blame you if you prefer to visually see your progress being saved.
