In Dragon Quest Builders 2 a restaurant is a combination of a kitchen and a dining room. It's not like all the other Dragon Quest Builders 2 room recipes, because this is actually two rooms jammed together, like a peanut butter cup but made of architecture.
For one of the Tablet Targets on Isle of Awakening, you're tasked with building one of these mythical monuments, but how do you build a restaurant in Dragon Quest Builders 2? Here, let us help. It can be a bit tricky.
How to build a restaurant in Dragon Quest Builders 2
The two rooms you'll need to squish together to build a restaurant in Dragon Quest Builders 2 are a simple kitchen and a dining room. Our room recipes guide will tell you how to make both of these things, but there are a few pitfalls to be aware of. Firstly, it needs to be a Basic Kitchen. Anything fancier, like a farmers' kitchen, or god forbid an Agricultural Café, and the rooms won't get along. Build your basic kitchen (1 chest, 3 bonfires/cookfires) and with a shared wall build a dining room (1 light source, 4 dining table sets [table, chair, crockery]). Then knock through the wall and put a door in. There you go, you've made a restaurant.
The easiest dining room to make is 4 small tables arranged in a square with the 4 stools on the outside, then put plates on the table. Stick a torch in the corner, or if you're feeling fancy put a sconce on the wall, and as soon as there's a door joining the kitchen and the dining room together you should have completed a restaurant. Bathe in the adoration of your villagers, hoover up their hearts, and get on with the next job.
And that's how to build a restaurant in Dragon Quest Builders 2. It is as easy as it sounds, but the game won't really ever tell you that so we're glad you stopped by to find out.
