In Dragon Quest Builders 2, you’ll complete a variety of activities as you explore the game’s colorful world. To speed up some of these activities, you’ll need to learn how to unlock and use Fast Travel. While using Fast Travel to journey between villages is relatively simple, traveling anywhere else will require you to activate special Naviglobes. Confused? We’ve got you covered! Below, we’ve put together a guide explaining how to unlock and use Fast Travel in Dragon Quest Builders 2.
How to unlock Fast Travel in Dragon Quest Builders 2
As noted above, you can skip between villages relatively easily in Dragon Quest Builder 2. For islands, you can cut down on travel time by speaking with Ship Captains, while other locations you can use Fast Travel. To use Fast Travel, you’ll need to find and activate Naviglobes. Looking around as you explore different areas, Naviglobes are pretty easy to spot as they’re large, blue, glowing orbs.
To do this, approach the Naviglobe and interact with it by tapping B on Nintendo Switch or X on PlayStation 4. In doing so, you’ll “collect” that Naviglobe and can use it as a Fast Travel point whenever the need arises in Dragon Quest Builders 2. For example, if you need to backtrack you can open your in-game map from your menu, expand the map grid, then highlight a “walking” symbol.
All of these walking symbols represent areas where you’ve activated Naviglobes and can now Fast Travel in Dragon Quest Builders 2. Select the symbol again to confirm you wish to Fast Travel to that location and you’ll begin the warp process. Overall, getting acquainted with all forms of travel in Dragon Quest Builders 2 will cut down on the time needed to complete quests and will aid you in exploration.
