How to Change Difficulty in Crash Team Racing

As noted above, there are three difficulty settings in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Before you dive into Adventure Mode, you’ll need to select the difficulty setting you wish to play on from those three options. If you’re new to Crash Team Racing and need to learn the ropes, you can pick Easy.
If you’re looking for a decent blend of difficult but somewhat approachable, go with Medium. If you want to tackle Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled on its highest possible difficulty, select Hard. Once you’ve selected a difficulty setting, you’re locked into it. This means you can’t change your difficulty setting in the middle of Adventure Mode.
To circumvent this, you can always start a new game save file under a different difficulty setting. While this will force you to replay Adventure Mode from the beginning, it can be handy if you’ve been struggling to get by on Hard mode. You also have four save file slots, meaning you won’t lose your original save file by starting a new one.
