How to fast travel in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
There are two main ways to fast travel in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The first you’ll get access to very quickly in the form of Waystones. These consumable items allow the user to think of a location and travel there instantly. In the case of Bloodstained, they mechanically mean you can teleport back to the town to visit Johannes and Dominique easily. If you’re running low on health and find yourself too far from a save point or trapped between challenging rooms, using a Waystone can fast travel you to safety to make sure you don’t lose anything. Remember that Waystones are a limited resource, so you can’t just use them whenever you want.
The other, primary method to fast travel in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is through stained glass window rooms. When you enter these rooms they’ll appear as green on your map and, provided you’ve accessed at least two of them, you’ll be able to fast travel between them freely. This is by far the best way to get around the castle, and will let you jump between the different areas quickly to backtrack or reach key areas. Make sure you explore the full depth of each area to find them all as it’ll save you much more time in the long run.
There is a fast travel room close to the safe area with Johannes and Dominique, and it’s surprisingly easy to miss. To save yourself a lot of time walking back and forth, make sure you access it by exiting the safe building in Arvantville in the direction of the castle (right). Then, jump up on the platforms and enter the doorway above the exit you just came from. There will also be a Capacity upgrade here for your firearms. You can now use this stained glass room to fast travel back to town whenever you need, saving you a lengthy trip!
Now that you know how to fast travel in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, your adventures through the castle should prove far less harrowing.
