How to add friends in Harry Potter Wizards Unite
To answer the question of how to add friends in Harry Potter Wizards Unite, you’ll first need to familiarize yourself with your home screen. Not only can you tap on the Wizard icon to customize your Ministry ID page, you can also open up a menu to add friends. This menu can be found directly above the Wizard icon and is represented by two Wizards side-by-side.
After opening this menu, you’ll find yourself on the Social page. At the top, you can tap “Add Friend” to begin the process of sending out invites to your friends. Similar to Pokemon GO, everyone is given a unique Friend Code. Ask your friends for their Friend Code, then enter it in the Social section of Harry Potter Wizards Unite. When done correctly, you’ll send a request which your friend can then accept.
You can also view and give your friends your Friend Code which they can use to add you. When the process is complete, you’ll be able to view your list of friends on the Social page. Note that as of the time of this writing, you can only add up to 200 people as friends. You also can’t send them gifts or items like you can in Pokemon GO, though that feature will undoubtedly be added in the future.
Right now, the Social functionality in Harry Potter Wizards Unite is described as follows: “Friends provide social benefits, such as bonus Wizarding XP and Wizarding Challenge XP when you engage in Wizarding Challenges together.”
