In Cadence of Hyrule, you’ll need to find the Hibiscus Potion in order to wake either Link or Zelda and unlock them as a playable character. The character you use the Hibiscus Potion on will depend on who you selected to play at the beginning of the game. If you chose Zelda, you’ll need to wake Link in order to unlock him as a playable character, and vice versa.
Regardless of which character you choose, you’ll need to travel to Kakariko Village in order to obtain the Hibiscus Potion and unlock the other character. Confused? We’ve got you covered! Below, we’ve put together a quick guide explaining how to get the Hibiscus Potion in Cadence of Hyrule.
How to Get Hibiscus Potion in Cadence of Hyrule
To get the Hibiscus Potion needed to wake either sleeping Zelda or sleeping Link, you’ll need to visit Kakariko Village in Cadence of Hyrule. There, you’ll find the sleeping character and learn that in order to wake them up, you’ll need to give them Hibiscus Potion. To get the Hibiscus Potion, head right through Kakariko Village until you reach the cemetery.
At the very back of the cemetery, interact with a large gravestone to reveal a set of hidden stairs leading down to an underground dungeon. Explore this dungeon until you receive a Key, then use the Key to unlock the battle room where you’ll face off against your shadow self. Defeat your shadow self and you’ll earn the Hibiscus Potion.
After that, return to the surface and interact with sleeping Zelda or sleeping Link to give them the Hibiscus Potion. In doing so, you’ll wake them from their slumber and unlock them as a playable character in Cadence of Hyrule. To switch between them, simply visit the nearest Sheikah Stone.
