Pokemon Sword and Shield will offer Double Pack

Grab both Sword and Shield all in one convenient package.

Following today’s Pokemon Direct, which revealed new details concerning Pokemon Sword and Shield, gamers found themselves wondering if the games would be available in a Double Pack. In the past, games like Pokemon Sun and Moon had Double Pack releases for 3DS that offered both Sun and Moon along with a special case.

Similar to this Double Pack for Sun and Moon on 3DS, it’s been confirmed that Pokemon Sword and Shield will offer a Double Pack on Nintendo Switch.

As of right now, pre-orders have gone live for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield as individual purchases, though the Double Pack pre-orders have yet to go live. Included in the Pokemon Sword and Shield Double Pack are copies of both Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, with one version offering an exclusive Golden Dual Game Card SteelBook (as seen in the image above).

While the base game will cost you $60 (USD), the Double Pack will be more expensive at $119.99 (USD).
