Some players are being invited to Nioh 2's closed alpha test on PlayStation 4, but all we get is this extremely rad trailer.
A closed test of the samurai souls-like sequel (that came before Sekiro) is running from May 24 to June 2 as Team Ninja look to learn more about what makes demonic slashing so fun.
Some PS4 users are invited to take part in the Nioh 2 closed alpha to help gather feedback for the development. To ensure the team can manage the feedback, there are no plans to expand the alpha at the moment, but please keep an eye on our channels for more info in the future. pic.twitter.com/hS1l0rHLFa

From the trailer below, we can see that there are either multiple playable characters or the customization system they talked about at E3 2018 is very, very comprehensive. You can also turn into a demon yourself, which looks great.
The sequel doesn't currently have a release date, but if they announced it at last year's E3 and they're currently running an invite-only closed alpha for Nioh 2 then we'll put this on our 2020 Christmas lists (or tentatively a summer treat for 2021).
