Patapon 2 Remastered due out in 2018

Sony has announced that Patapon 2 is being re-released with 4K support on PlayStation 4 sometime in 2018.

Patapon 2 Remastered, as it will be called, includes all the original content from the PSP game released in 2009.

The Patapon series combines god game and rhythm elements, allowing you to control little tribespeople by banging out drum noises. They were sweet and quirky little games, and the second installment was generally well received.

The original Patapon Remastered is still available on PlayStation Store and also supports 4K resolutions, so if you never tried it out, you could always give that a go. It currently costs $14.99.
