The news that EA Access will be available for PlayStation 4 users this July is exciting, as the service has previously been available for Xbox One users from 2014 onward. Not only will purchasing an EA Access subscription give gamers access to select EA “Vault” titles, it’ll also give gamers access to special features such as Play First Trials.

Through Play First Trials, gamers have the ability to play extended demos of new EA titles for free. It’s akin to a “try before you buy” perk, and can be a great way to see if new games like Anthem are right for you before dropping $59.99 on them. Other benefits to EA Access include 10% off on EA games and DLC.

As of right now, it’s unclear which games will be included as part of EA Access on PlayStation 4, though you can browse through the games offered on Xbox in the meantime. After learning that EA Access is coming to PlayStation 4, what are your thoughts? Do you plan on purchasing a subscription, or are you happy with what you get from PlayStation Plus?
