Thanks to a new tweet from the official Fortnite Twitter account, we now have an answer to this question. Fortnite Season 9 will begin on Thursday, May 9. This gives you just a few short days to complete your Fortnite Season 8 challenges before it ends on May 8.
Along with the release date for Fortnite Season 9, a teaser image and text “The Future is Unknown” was revealed. Unlike Fortnite Season 8, Fortnite Season 9 appears to embrace a futuristic theme. The image is somewhat vague, though we’re willing to bet it teases the sort of cosmetic items players can unlock during Season 9 in Fortnite.
As expected, Fortnite Season 9 will also bring with it new challenges and Battle Star opportunities.
