How to Get SHD Tech in The Division 2
There are a variety of different ways to earn SHD Tech in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. In our opinion, the easiest way to get SHD Tech is by working your way through the game’s Story Mode. Note that if you’re short on time and are uninterested in sitting through story cutscenes, you can skip past them in The Division 2.
Story Mode aside, SHD Tech can be earned whenever you level up your character, complete qualifying Side Missions (many of which award a whopping 5 SHD Tech), and working your way through various SHD Cache locations. To discover new SHD Cache locations, you’ll want to visit new Safe Houses and interact with the tables inside.
In doing so, new SHD Cache locations will be revealed to you which you can complete at your leisure. As an added bonus for visiting Safe Houses, you’ll also be able to easily Fast Travel around the map in The Division 2, as Fast Travel is relegated to locations you’ve previously visited. With SHD Tech on hand, head back to the White House and speak with the Quartermaster to exchange it for new Perks and Skills.
