The resolution for Xbox One’s DVR recording feature has been bumped up from 720p to 1080p.
The change has been made available to Xbox Insiders who are in the alpha ring, receiving updates ahead of everyone else. The full release is expected to come later this year.
Microsoft has also added the ability to save directly to an external hard drive, making transfers to PC a breeze. The update will come for both Xbox One and One S, with the One X arriving with 4K, 60FPS HDR capture.
