In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, players have been wondering how to get the Gold Spork melee weapon featured in the game’s Zombies mode. If you’ve been hearing rumors about the Gold Spork being a 1-hit kill weapon, we can say these rumors are true.
By acquiring the Gold Spork in Zombies, you’ll be able to kill any shambling corpse that comes your way with one whack. Of course, due to how powerful it is, the Gold Spork can take a really long time to get.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the Gold Spork melee weapon is available the Zombies game mode. It’s an extremely powerful weapon, one that’s capable of instantly taking down any zombie you encounter up until Round 30 to 35. Ironically enough, to get the Gold Spork you’ll first need to know how to get the Spoon in Zombies.
To get the Spoon, you’ll need to flip the power switches and kill a boss zombie named Brutus. Once Brutus has been vanquished, pick up the Warden’s Key that he drops. Next, build the Shield needed for the Pack-a-Punch, and grab both the Acidgat and Hell’s Retriever. With all of this done, equip your Shield and pay a visit to the Warden’s Office.
If you aim down your sights with the Shield, you should be able to spot a set of three glowing numbers on the wall. Once you’ve spotted these, head over to the Perk Machine in the Warden’s Office and turn to view the opposite wall. Here, you can view two numbers with your Shield, though these numbers are randomized so take note of the ones viewable to your current game.
Next, head to the Citadel Tunnels to find a locked box. You can unlock the cage with the Warden’s Key you picked up from Brutus, then interact with the box. To activate the number pads on the box, you can use your Shield to deal a charged Spirit Blast. Once activated, go ahead and input the numbers you saw inside the Warden’s Office. You’ll know you did this correctly if the cage falls down into the water below.
With that step done, head to the Docks and use your Shield’s Spirit Blast to charge the electricity gauge over the water. In doing so, a crane will move above the gauge. Next, throw your Hell’s Retriever at the skeleton in the need to drop the Spoon. Despite being a lot of work, completing the steps above will allow you and anyone on your team to freely collect the Spoon in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies.

With this Spoon, you can then work on getting the famous Gold Spork. After grabbing the Spoon, head to the Infirmary. In the second room to your right is a bathtub. By holding [Interact] you can place the Spoon inside the tub. Ensure the Spoon is in the tub, then head to the Roof of the Infirmary and begin scoring kills with the Acidgat. You can also use any upgraded Blundergat to do this, though we personally prefer the Acidgat.
By getting kills this way, you’ll begin filling the bathtub with blood. Continue killing enemies until the bathtub is completely full of blood. Once full, you can hold [Interact] to drain the bathtub to reveal that the Spoon has disappeared. Or has it? Next, head over to the middle of the Catwalk and get a good vantage point of the base of the Water Tower.
Throw your Hell’s Retriever at the middle pipe and if it lands correctly, it’ll return as the Gold Spork. Feel free to enjoy your Gold Spork until Round 30 or 35, as it has the power to 1-hit zombies. This is extremely useful, especially if you’ve been having a hard time in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies.
