The first stage in the White Queen puzzle involves playing with the globe in the back of the study. Lara is will start by looking at a drawing with the text 30N and 90E on it. This is a direct clue, meaning you need to adjust the globe such that it matches these coordinates. You can turn the handles on the globe to adjust where on the earth the magnifying glass is centered. Move the globe handles until 30N and 90E are both under the magnifying glass and you’ll cause a ladder to drop down, opening up the next stage of the puzzle.

After climbing the ladder you’ll notice a giant bat figure hanging from the ceiling. Interact with the crank here to open up the bat’s wings and two beams of light will shine down onto the board on the floor. You can now climb back down the ladder.

In the center of the room is a board with a number of knight figures. The aim here is to get the two shield-holding knights under the beams of light. This shouldn’t be too tough, all you need to do is push the shield knights towards the beams of light, moving the other knights out of the way.

One the two knights are in position, you’re nearly done. Head back over to the globe and adjust the coordinates to anything other than 30N and 90E. This will cause the ladder to retract, allowing you to access the White Queen puzzle piece. Pull the Queen out from her position and place her such that she’s sat between the two shielded knights. This will complete the puzzle and open up a door behind the queen’s original position.

And just like that, the White Queen puzzle is solved, letting you move on with Lara’s journey and get back to her far more deadly modern life!
