Nintendo has announced Luigi's Mansion 3 will be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019.
Very little was shown of the game, but it looks to be following the general format of Mario's bro heading to a spooky location to tackle an ethereal threat with his trusty vacuum.

We've been promised further details are on the way in the near future, but all we know so far is that it's coming some time next year. Looks like Luigi wasn't so dead following that last Super Smash Bros. Ultimate trailer after all!
To get players excited for the next game in the series, Nintendo is adding a two-player co-op feature to Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS, arriving on October 12. In local play one pal can join as a scaredy-cat Luigi ghost to help ease those solo fears.
The announcement came as part of today's Nintendo Direct which revealed new content for both 3DS and Nintendo Switch games.
