Those looking to change up their builds in Destiny 2: Forsaken will have noted that a second Seed of Light is needed to unlock your second subclass. While the first is given to you in a rather straightforward manner, unlocking the second one isn’t quite so clear. Earning it requires working together with an experienced Fireteam to fight through a pretty tough event, but fortunately we can walk you through the steps required. As with many of Forsaken’s secrets, the first stage in unlocking your second (and third) Seed of Light is to complete the Forsaken campaign. Following that you need to gain access to the Dreaming City as it’s here that you’ll find the event required.

Within the Dreaming City you’ll need to have a Tier 2 Charge of Light so that you can start a Tier 2 Blind Well event. You should be able to mark the location of the Blind Well on your map such that you can follow a waypoint marker from the start of the Dreaming City. When you see the vast building in the side of the mountain, you’re in the right place. Head on forwards through this and you’ll reach the Blind Well.

To start the event, place the Charge of Light into the slot on the central pillar, but be prepared for a tough fight. To complete this you’ll most likely need the help of other players, and ideally a strong fireteam you can communicate well with. Make sure you’re all experienced with the event, then get place the Charge of Light to kick things off. Completing the Tier 2 Blind Well should result in a Seed of Light spawning for you, letting you unlock further subclasses. However, it has been known that it will fail to spawn, meaning you need to complete the Tier 2 Blind Well event again. You can repeat this in future to earn more Seeds for further subclasses.
