Following the success of Nintendo's miniature NES and SNES consoles, SNK is the latest company to jump aboard the trend for tiny versions of retro hardware. The NEOGEO Mini launched in Japan over the summer, and is now available to pre-order here in the US for $109 and will ship on October 15.
What do you get for your money? A dinky little arcade cabinet containing 40 SNK games, including all 10 entries in the King of Fighters series, as well as Samurai Shodown, King of Monsters, Fatal Fury, Metal Slug and more. Each game comes with a save state option, so you can take a break without losing your winning streak.
We're not entirely convinced by that tiny screen, but there's no denying that it's an adorable little collector's item. Stocks are expected to be limited in the west, so if this tickles your fancy you should probably jump in now before it sells out.
