New Forza Horizon 4 trailer has fun with the British location

Jolly good show.

Forza Horizon 4, the next entry in Microsoft's sandbox racing series, is set in Great Britain. If you weren't aware of that, you're unlikely to forget it after watching the game's new trailer, which has lots of fun contrasting the voiceover efforts of a plummy English actor with the vehicular mayhem being portrayed.

The game certainly looks like it will take full advantage of its new setting, not least in the dynamic weather and seasons which will open up new racing routes over time. For instance, an impassable lake may become a solid driveable surface when it freezes over in winter, only to change back again in the spring. These seasons are dictated by the central server, so if its winter in your game it'll be winter for everyone.

You'll also be able to purchase properties all over the map, with each one adding new perks and in-game items. And with over 450 licensed vehicles to roar around in - including a hovercraft, judging from the trailer - it's not like you'll be running out of content any time soon.

Forza Horizon 4 launches on Xbox One and PC on October 2.
