How to Open Cans in SCUM

In SCUM, the easiest way to open cans of food is by using a Can Opener. While scavenging for supplies in SCUM, you have the opportunity to stumble upon a Can Opener. Can Openers can be found at random in houses, buildings, and on dead bodies. Alternatively, if you’re friendly with other prisoners in SCUM, you can ask one of them to give you a Can Opener should they happen to have more than one.
Another way to open cans of food in SCUM is by using a Stone Knife. Unlike Can Openers, Stone Knives can be crafted fairly easily. To craft a Stone Knife in SCUM, pick up two stones from the ground, then combine them together in your inventory to craft a Stone Knife. Now that you have either a Can Opener or a Stone Knife, you can use it to open cans of food.
To do this, open up your inventory. Then, select either your Can Opener or Stone Knife. Next, select the can of food you wish to open (yes, this includes cans of cat food) and interact with the can to begin opening it. With your cans of food open, you’ll have no trouble staving off hunger in SCUM!
