Sony unveils four new DualShock 4 colors

Sony offering more variety to PlayStation 4 owners with their new DualShock 4 designs.

Sony recently unveiled four brand new DualShock 4 color schemes for PlayStation 4 which are due to release this September at $65 each. The new DualShock 4 colors include Sunset Orange, Copper, Berry Blue, and Blue Camouflage.

Steve Schwartz, Sony’s VP of sales and marketing, commented on the new DualShock 4 controllers in an official blog post:

“Bright, playful, and fun, the new Berry Blue edition brings new flavor to the DS4 lineup, while the vibrant Sunset Orange brings a little heat to your gameplay. The two-tone design offers a stylish contract that makes the buttons and sticks pop."

"If you’re a fan of trendy patterns, the Blue Camouflage DS4 will be right up your alley. Alternatively, if you’d prefer sticking to one color, stand out with another metallic addition to the lineup with the shiny and refined new Copper DS4.”

It’s worth noting that the Copper DualShock 4 will be exclusive to GameStop stores in the US before becoming available at other retailers. Based on the promo images, the most notable color schemes in the lineup include Berry Blue and Sunset Orange, both of which feature a bright aesthetic.

If we had to pick between the two, we personally feel Sunset Orange looks a bit cleaner. However, all of the color schemes are stylish and will certainly appeal to a wide variety of gamers.
