Set aside at least 80 hours to fully complete Kingdom Hearts 3

Cooking minigame and retro platforming challenges revealed.

You'll need to set aside a decent chunk of time if you plan on rinsing Kingdom Hearts 3 of all its juicy content. A new report from Geek.com suggests that it will take between 40 and 50 hours to complete the core story missions, and over 80 hours to fully complete everything in the game including optional objectives, bonus material and minigames.

In that area, we now know that this will include around 20 retro-styled Game & Watch challenges based on early Mickey Mouse cartoons, and a cooking game based on Pixar's Ratatouille.

It's been thirteen years since Kingdom Hearts 2 came out, and while the franchise has been kept alive with handheld spin-offs and side projects fans have been eagerly awaiting the next fully fledged sequel to the Square Enix Disney mashup saga. Among the new worlds you'll be exploring in Kingdom Hearts 3 are Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Frozen, Tangled, and Big Hero 6.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally due for release on January 29 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Phew.
