Publisher Ripstone Games has announced a turn-based strategy game based on the cult tabletop RPG series, Achtung! Cthulhu. The promises to let you "challenge the horrifying reign of Nazi terror and battle an immortal evil".
The game will see players waging a secret war against Nazi scientists who have found a way to tap into the ancient power of Lovecraft's Old Ones, granting their forces supernatural advantages. Your squad members won't have to be kept physically healthy, but also psychologically, with characters suffering from adverse effects should the terrors they face take their toll on their mental state.
You'll be able to even the odds using a system called Momentum. The more kills and successful actions you perform, the better your squad will feel and the more actions you'll be able to perform each turn.
There's no definitive release date yet, but Ripstone has it pegged for this year. Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics will be available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC when it launches.
