Epic Games is preparing to celebrate Fortnite’s one-year anniversary with new items and challenges. In a new blog post, Epic detailed some of the festivities and rewards players can expect. First, Battle Royale will see the release of a new three-part challenge starting July 24.
The first challenge will grant players 5,000 experience points for playing 14 matches, the second awards players with a “Happy Birthday” emote for dealing 1,000, and the last challenge gives players a “Happy Birthday” spray for dancing in front of 10 birthday cakes. Additionally, if you complete all three challenges you unlock the Birthday Cake Back Bling.
Meanwhile, Save the World players have a new Fortnite Birthday questline. By completing this questline, players will earn the new Birthday Brigade Ramirez hero. There’s also a new Birthday Llama up for sale which contains weapons and heroes from every Fortnite event this year. The Fortnite one-year anniversary celebration kicks off July 24.
