If you have a Twitch Prime account, you may be wondering how to redeem the exclusive Deadmau5 Crate in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Announced earlier today in conjunction with Amazon Prime Day 2018, PC players of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have the ability to unlock an exclusive Deadmau5 Crate.

The Deadmau5 Crate is only redeemable from July 16 starting at 12:00 p.m. (PST) until July 17 at 11:59 p.m. (PST). Wondering how to get your crate? Here’s how to redeem the Twitch Prime exclusive Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG!

How to Get the Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG

The process for redeeming the Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG isn’t too difficult. First, you’ll need to play PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on the PC, as the Deadmau5 Crate isn’t available on other platforms such as Xbox One. Next, the Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG is only available for redemption during the Prime Day 2018 festivities.

This means you have from July 16 starting at 12:00 p.m. (PST) until July 17 at 11:50 p.m. (PST) to unlock your Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG. Finally, only Twitch Prime members will be able to get the exclusive Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG. To get the Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG, you’ll need to link your Twitch Prime account. To do this, open PUBG on your PC. On the main page, you'll see a Twitch icon in the upper right corner.

Click the icon to be taken to an external link that connects your Twitch Prime and PUBG accounts. This will require you to log into your Twitch account and approve the PUBG link. 

Note that after you successfully link your Twitch Prime and PUBG accounts, you may need to log out of PUBG then back in to see the Deadmau5 Crate in your inventory.

You'll see the above message, click "Authorize" to connect your Twitch Prime and PUBG Accounts. You may need to exit PUBG and log back in to see the Deadmau5 Crate in your inventory.

Update: Servers appear to be overloaded, we recommend linking through your PUBG account on PC first before trying through Twitch Prime and Amazon.

Alternatively, by viewing your Twitch Prime offers, you should be able to find and redeem the Deadmau5 Crate in the “In-Game Loot and More” section. Note that some Twitch Prime members have had difficulty seeing the Deadmau5 Crate in their Twitch Prime offers.

Refreshing the page sometimes works, and noting the time zone differences between (PST) and where you live helps. For example, you may be viewing the page too early, as the Deadmau5 Crate is only available beginning at 12:00 p.m. (PST) or 3:00 p.m. (EST).

The Deadmau5 Crate for PUBG is also be available within the In-Game Loot & More section of Twitch Prime.

If you're wondering whether or not you need a key to open the Deadmau5 Crate, the answer is no. You don't need a key to open the Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG.

Once you’ve redeemed the Deadmau5 Crate and have it available in your PUBG account on PC, you should be able to open it within your PUBG inventory. Upon opening the Deadmau5 Crate in PUBG, you should be awarded 7 total items which can be used to customize your character in PUBG.
