The best recipe to lure Pikachu in Pokémon Quest

Find out which dish gives you the best odds of luring Pikachu to your base camp in Pokémon Quest.

Pikachu is effectively Pokémon’s mascot, and easily the most popular of Nintendo’s famous critters. It’s therefore no surprise to see players who are exploring Pokémon Quest are keen to lure the little electric mouse into their camps. To attract a Pikachu you’ll need to make one of a few certain recipes, the best of which is the Watt a Risotto, though there are others you can make too. Read on to discover how to create the best Pokémon Quest recipe to lure Pikachu to your base camp.

The Pokémon Quest Pikachu recipe

The following recipes can be used to lure Pikachu to your base camp:

  • Watt a Risotto
  • Yellow Curry
  • Milligan Stew

Each time you cook a dish at your base camp you have a chance of earning a certain set of Pokémon. Which one you get is unfortunately random, but you can increase your odds of earning the Pokémon you want by using certain ingredients in the dish. Don’t expect to get the Pokémon you want first time however, you’ll probably need to cook up multiple dishes before you get the Pokémon you’re after.

Pikachu has three different dishes that can lure him to the camp: Watt a Risotto, Yellow Curry and Milligan Stew. The best dish from these is the Watt a Risotto and the higher quality your meal, the greater the chance of your earning Pikachu. A special recipe is your best bet, but you can also cook the Yellow Stew if your ingredients are running low. Finally, the Mulligan Stew can earn a Pikachu, but the chances are very low. Check the recipe list below for the different versions of the dish you can make.

The special Mulligan Stew recipes have a small chance of luring in a Pikachu, but if you’re really short on ingredients there are a ton of Mulligan Stew recipes with a very good recipe that offer and even tinier chance but only require two ingredient types. The odds aren’t good but there’s still a chance. To do this, use three ingredient slots for one of the following: Balm Mushroom, Big Root, Honey or Icy Rock. In the remaining two slots, put one of these: Apricorn, Bluk Berry, Fossil or Tiny Mushroom.
