Another obvious one. Winning the battle gives a 1.5 XP coefficient compared to losing, so win!
Take a look at what you’re doing wrong and improve, platoon up, or pick one of the Highest Win Rate Tanks. Take any steps you can to improve your win rate, as it’ll result in a higher XP income per battle. Not only this, but if you’re clever you can dictate how you win to earn even more of a reward. Capturing the enemy base gives a flat XP boost to everyone on the winning team, separate to that earned per point captured. This means that if you can time a successful base capture to occur just as you finish off the last enemy on the opposing team, you can get the absolute maximum amount of XP out of that battle for both you and your team.
