PS3 Backwards Compatibility
Speaking of Blu-Ray, we cannot make a list of greatest moments in PlayStation history without including the PS3, as well as its backwards compatible 60GB unit. The PlayStation 3, thanks in part to its Blu-Ray drive and its impressive internal hardware, was the most powerful console on the market, offering unprecedented graphical quality and free online support.

However, one thing that really made the PS3 amazing was its ability to play all those old-school PS2 games straight from the DVD. All those years of playing our PS2s and collecting games didn’t go to waste. We could relive those memories of playing Metal Gear Solid or Kingdom Hearts whenever we wanted.
Unfortunately, backwards compatibility is something the PS4 is currently missing, but it’s a feature we desperately want in Update 5.0.
