Xbox Live Arena
You heard that right. War Stories will be taking its first steps into the Xbox Live Arena. Gamers will be able to jump into user-generated tournaments to truly test their skills in competitions.
With Xbox Live Arena and War Stories, players will be able to create clubs and set up tournaments with their own specific configurations. It will be up to you the map and game types you want to play in the tournaments you create. This is giving gamers so much more power, no more struggling to organize tournaments outside of Xbox, now everything is automated: sign-ups, ladders, and launching the tournament. Boom!
PlayStation players, rest assured, you haven’t been forgotten. Sony has just released the XDK for their tournament solution, so you might be seeing a similar feature soon.
