Splyce Regain Championship Form in Sweep of E6

Splyce heads into Round 2 of the Call of Duty World Championships with an impressive performance.

In a highly anticiapted first round matchup between two teams expecting to make deep runs, Splyce swept E6 for the right to square off against OpTic in the next round.

Splyce came out firing on Retaliation Uplink, building an early lead that proved to be insurmountable. Enigma6 clawed back to give the appearance of a more competitive match, but Splyce held on for a final of 250-217.

Next up was Search and Destroy on Crusher, finishing 6-4 in Splyce's favor. Jurd went off, finishing the round with a 16-4 scoreline to send Enigma6 to an 0-2 hole.

E6 would hope their Uplink game proved strong enough to avoid the sweep, but the Euro champions finished off the match with a competitve 7-4 victory.

Splyce now advances to the second round and a date with OpTic Gaming, while Enigma6 will have to fight their way through the Loser's Bracket to keep their Call of Duty 2017 World Championship hopes alive.
