Remember when Killzone was a household name for the PlayStation? It’s been four years since we last got to fight the dreaded Helghast, but we haven’t forgotten about them. Killzone 2 was, for many players, the pinnacle of the Killzone franchise, scoring fantastic reviews across the board.

Killzone 2 leaped onto the PlayStation 3 with such force that it blew all other first-person shooters away. The online multiplayer was incredible, challenging even the titan of online play, Call of Duty. With fluid gameplay, unprecedented graphics at the time, an unforgettable atmosphere, and a rockin’ soundtrack, it’s no wonder that Killzone 2 deserves to be remastered for the PS4.
