T26E5 Patriot
Finally, we have the T26E5 or its Star Spangled brother the Patriot. An absolutely outstanding Jack of All Trades, master of… turret armor. And DPM. Well, they say you can’t have it all but the Patriot rejects such a claim with solid statistics all across the board for hull armor, gun handling, and mobility, while also excelling at hulldown work, rate of fire, and penetration with its APCR standard rounds that also provide exceptional shell velocity.
I would pick apart the down sides of this tank but… there aren’t really any to pick apart. I could mention that its hull armor isn’t Defender or Chrysler levels, but it’s really not bad, or that it’s not as quick as a Medium Tank, but it’s still very mobile for a Heavy Tank. If you’re in the market for anything and enjoy playing most kinds of tanks, get a Patriot.
