The Most Popular Tank of July for the NA server, we have the Tier 8 German Tank Destroyer the Skorpion. Similar to the M4A1 Ravioli, the Skorpion is really all about its 128mm gun. Its DPM is impressive at over 2500, its alpha damage is brutal with high penetration, the accuracy is laser beam-esque at 0.29, really there’s nothing to complain about except for the poor dispersion soft stats that make the reticle bloom quite significant.
When it comes to durability… I’d say focus back on the firepower if you don’t want to be disappointed. The armor thickness is an excellent 30mm at the front of the hull and 14.5mm on the turret front (that’s a whole 0.5mm thicker than the FV4005!) - I assume you enjoy getting penetrated by Tier 1 vehicles and High Explosive rounds anyway.
There is a saving grace for this complete lack of armor, however, and that’s the mobility you gain from having nothing to weigh you down – a top speed of 60 km/h with a power-to-weight ratio of 17 hp/t allows the Skorpion to drive really fast in a straight line before turning like a boat with its God awful traverse speeds and terrain resistance values.
