Panther/M10
As mentioned in the Best Medium Tanks in World of Tanks article, the Panther/M10 recently went from Zero to Hero in Patch 9.17.1 as part of the large-scale Vehicle Rebalance. This buff bumped it up from easily the worst Tier 7 Tank in the game by most people’s opinions, to arguably the greatest Tier 7, let alone Premium Tank.
The Panther/M10 sports very bouncy turret armor, decent hull armor, a very accurate 75mm main armament with high DPM, and exceptional gun handling. Not only this, but the increase in mobility allows this tank to shift around the battlefield effortlessly. All sounds fine and dandy, right? Well it is, but wait, there’s more. Part of the reason the Panther/M10 sucked so much in the past was because it was limited by its Premium Matchmaking, which it retained with the buffs even though it no longer sucks.
