Medium Tanks are definitely one of the most dominant classes in World of Tanks due to their versatility and firepower. In this article we’ll be looking into my favorites at each tier, focusing primarily on the top dogs at Tier 10. It should be noted that, while Premium and Reward Tanks are included in this list, exclusive tanks that are no longer available are not.

Tier 6 – Cromwell
It was hard picking a favorite out of all the competition at Tier 6, but I landed on the Tier 6 British Cromwell, or its Premium counterpart the Cromwell Berlin. While there are slight differences between the two, both specialise in sheer mobility and damage output. Their rates of fire shred anything with equal or higher alpha damage in terms of DPM, and their traverse speeds allow easy circling of even fast Heavy Tanks or slower Mediums, as well as evasive maneuvers against incoming rounds. Not only this, but the top speed and power to weight ratios are unmatched by even certain Light Tanks.
The tanks can position themselves with such ease, combat any foe, and work on any map providing the driver knows how to avoid taking too many hits – the Cromwells simply couldn’t not make the list.
