Turn TV On With PS4
You can save yourself precious seconds and get into games quicker with this awesome feature of the PlayStation 4. If you have a Smart TV (which most gamers do these days), you can set your TV to turn on whenever you turn on your PS4.
No more messing around with a TV remote and your PS4 controller. Turning on the console with its power button, or using your controller, will switch on the TV and get you straight into the game. To enable this, head to the System menu in Settings, and check the box next to the Enable HDMI Device Link option.
So long as your TV is clever enough, your two devices will now be communicating with one another. Nothing too scary about that.
