Dedicated servers have returned to CoD:WW2’s online multiplayer.
The multiplayer service was switch to P2P shortly after release when the dedicated servers ran into trouble.
Peer 2 Peer service used to be the staple for Call of Duty, but it bring with it issues of Host Migration and provides a less reliable service.
STATUS UPDATE: Global Dedicated Servers are currently live on all platforms. Sledgehammer have now moved back to dedicated servers and are asking all users to report any issues the them on Twitter, tagging @ATVIassist.
Bringing the dedicated servers back online was a big target Sledgehammer named when they announced a delay in the introduction of microtransactions. Hopefully any further issues will be resolved quickly so that players can truly get stuck in.
