5 Weapons Leaked from In the Name of the Tsar

We weren’t supposed to know about these weapons until the Battlefield 1 DLC launched.

Obrez

Finally, the last weapon coming to Battlefield 1’s In The Name of the Tsar DLC is the Obrez, a sawn-off gun for the Tanker and Pilot Class. While it’s disappointing that these vehicle-only classes are receiving a Class-specific weapon, it does help round-out their equipment.

There's nothing quite like using a hacked-up gun to mow down enemies in Battlefield 1, and the Oberz is the latest and greatest of these weapons.

Over on Guns.com, they state that the Obrez is a version of the Imperial Russian Army’s Model 1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle. Due to its nature, the Obrez should act in a similar fashion to a pistol, albeit a bolt-action one. The Tanker and Pilot weapons in Battlefield 1 tend to be hacked and cut-down versions of the fuller, larger versions of other classes’ armaments.

These five guns join the other five confirmed guns coming to In The Name of the Tsar. As it gets closer to September, and the release of Battlefield 1, In The Name of the Tsar, more information about these guns are sure to surface!
