For the first time since 2007, PC gamers will get to experience a Bungie game on their computers with Destiny 2. After the success of Destiny, it only makes sense for Activision to expand the playerbase by inviting the PC community to take part in what is turning out to be the greatest franchise in recent years. But Destiny 2 is a titan, and it needs equally monstrous PC specs to run.

Before you take the plunge and pre-order your copy of Destiny 2 through Blizzard so you can play the Destiny 2 PC Beta, take a moment to ensure that your PC will actually be able to run the damn thing.

As per Bungie’s recent “This Week At Bungie”, the company gave a brief rundown of the Destiny 2 PC Minimum Specs and the Recommended Specs for the Beta. This will no doubt be of interest to many of you who are looking to reach the sort of benchmarks that make these gorgeous Destiny 2 4K screenshots possible.

Bungie also took it upon themselves to note parts that currently run the game well, in the event you’re looking to upgrade. While these don’t represent the final recommended builds, they do give a good insight into Destiny 2’s demand for power. For some reason, an AMD option is missing from these recommendations.

For those who are looking to get into PC gaming specifically for Destiny 2, take some time to familiarize yourself with gear and the different advantages of each brand.
