The Best Ridgeline Warriors in World of Tanks

These tanks skirt the peaks and valleys like no other.

Centurion 7/1

The British Mediums make a return, this time at Tier 9 with the Centurion 7/1. Whether you choose to use the 20 pounder or 105mm L7A1, this tank is capable of using a strong turret with great short range mobility and excellent gun depression, to consistent put out hurt on its opposition. It also offers one of the highest view ranges in the game for its tier, helping it spot enemies before they spot it.

The Centurion has recently received performance buffs to its rate of fire and top speed in patch 9.17.1, and it looks like it will once again be getting some love as that workable turret becomes even stronger at some point in the near future.

ST-I

"Ridgelines are our speciality."

Unlike other Russian tanks, the ST-I is unique in its ability to survive on ridgelines and excel in hull down locations. Sure, a strong turret isn’t rare for a Russian tank, in fact it’s expected, but what separates the ST-I from the rest is its outstanding 8 degrees of gun depression. Using this irregularity to your advantage, you can often surprise the enemy by poking over a ridgeline or piece of cover they didn’t expect you to be able to use, before slamming a 122mm shell into their panicking self.
