The Best Ridgeline Warriors in World of Tanks

These tanks skirt the peaks and valleys like no other.

Pershing

Progressing to Tier 8, the M26 Pershing takes the spotlight. Its main armament is nothing special, though is capable of firing 268mm penetration APCR rounds, and the mobility is good enough to peek ridges, but it really comes into its own with its armor values.

Its mantlet is very large and takes up most of the moderately sized turret, giving it armor values ranging from 205mm all the way up to 300mm or more. This means the M26 can easily weather a storm providing it doesn’t allow its opposition to aim too much while utilising the solid 10 degrees of gun depression to minimise exposure.

T26E5

The T26E5, or its brother the Patriot (a superb credit farming tank), is an excellent Tier 8 Premium Heavy Tank capable in just about any situation due to its above average statistics across the board. Where it truly excels, however, is its hull down capabilities with absolutely fantastic turret armor capable of challenging Tier 10 opponents. It couples 10 degrees of gun depression, with an accurate, high rate of fire 90mm main armament. Combine this with good mobility for a Heavy Tank and you’re able to work ridgelines like no other in your tier.
