The Best Ridgeline Warriors in World of Tanks

These tanks skirt the peaks and valleys like no other.

Comet

Moving up to Tier 7 we have the Comet British Medium Tank. With an excellent power to weight ratio just shy of 20 hp/t and decent terrain resistance values, the Comet is capable of relocating effortlessly across a ridgeline, as well as easily peeking to fire using its 12 degrees of gun depression before pulling to safety.

Its turret, while weak, is very low and flat, making minimal exposure a breeze, as well as having the bonus of the mantlet and turret face crossing over in parts, resulting in surprisingly bouncy values if you’re lucky.

T29

An absolute fan favorite at Tier 7, it would be simply criminal not to include the T29 on this list. Just like the T34 and T30, the T29 shares a huge turret with frankly obscene armor values down at Tier 7. The T29 is even capable of challenging Tier 9 opponents with its effectively 280mm thick turret face at the flattest angle, and miniscule cupola that isn’t even visible to your opponents when you utilise the excellent 10 degrees of gun depression the tank has.

There would, of course, be no point in a tank with no bite, but that isn’t the T29. It boasts a brutal 105mm main armament capable of consistently putting 320 alpha damage rounds into your enemies with an excellent 198mm of penetration.
