The titans of home-consoles haven't always made brilliant decisions.

Old Games Go Bye-Bye

Remember being able to take your favorite PS2 game and play it on your PS3? We do. For some reason, though, Sony decided that allowing their fans to use the games that they purchased for older consoles on their PS4 wasn’t cool. Instead of supporting and giving their loyal fanbase what they deserve (full backwards compatibility) Sony removed the feature entirely.

Don’t be fooled, though, some people will tell you that you can get the games digitally. While that may be true, you have to buy them again. Meanwhile, over in the Xbox camp, Microsoft has just announced that OG Xbox games (that’s right, the black monstrosity from 2001) will be fully supported on the Xbox One! Physical disc or digital licences, it doesn’t matter. Sony, if you were ever going to listen to something Microsoft does, this is it. I want to play my PS1 games on my PS4.
