Top 10 Biggest Fails in PlayStation History

The titans of home-consoles haven't always made brilliant decisions.

No 4K/HDR Blu-Ray Drive

The highly anticipated PlayStation 4 Pro, boasting improved graphical fidelity, higher frame rates, and 4K gaming, lacked one extremely important feature; a 4K/HDR Blu-Ray Drive. That’s right, the designers of the now ubiquitous Blu-Ray neglected to install 4K technology in their own gaming hardware. I mean, even the Xbox One S has a 4K drive.

It’s true that we’re moving in a more digital direction a few years after we burned the pre-launch Xbox One to the ground for trying to do the same thing. I mean, I’m digital all the way. If I never get another disc, that’ll be fine with me. However, not having 4K/HDR technology in the PS4 Pro is kind of like working for Apple and owning an Android. Better yet, working for Apple and not even owning a phone. It’s just silly, man.
