Rainbow Six Siege Alpha Packs are now available on PS4, following the release of the packs on PC and Xbox. Alpha Packs contain over 1,000 cosmetic items for players to unlock, and can be earned with in-game currency or real-world money. Rainbow Six Siege Alpha Packs will cost 5,000 Renown.
In addition to the purchase options, Alpha Packs can be earned through a new system called Chance. After you win a match, you will earn a Chance rating that can be higher based on a number of performance factors.
Once your chance rating is determined, a wheel is spun and if it lands within your Chance, you will receive an Alpha Pack. If the roll lands outside of your Chance, it will be added to our next roll when you win another match, meaning the chances of earning an Alpha Pack gets increasingly more likely with each victory.
After you earn an Alpha Pack, your Chance rating is reset. Unfortunately, Alpha Packs cannot be earned by playing Terrorist Hunt.
Alpha Pack Content
Alpha Packs contain a number of cosmetic items, including weapon skins, charms and gear for your Operator. Players can earn previously unavailable items like the Black Ice weapon skin through Alpha Packs, as well as skins that are exclusive through the packs.
Every item in the game now has a rarity that determines the frequency of its drop rate in Alpha Packs. Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary will be the rarity levels. Duplicates are possible in Alpha Packs, and you will receive Renown when you get a duplicate item. More Renown will be given based on the item’s rarity level. New items are being discovered every day, and this Reddit thread is keeping track of them all.Load Comments
